Melvin Cherin, 99, beloved husband of the late Ida nee Potash for 65 years; loving father of Allen and Janice (Paul “Puloke”) Das; cherished Grandpa of Sheila (Aditya) Rawat and Colin Das; adoring great grandfather of Manik; devoted brother of the late Morris (the late Eva) Cherin; fond brother-in-law of Ruth (the late Joseph) Foreman, Marian (the late Alan) Schuman, Melvin (Phyllis) Potash and the late Frances (the late Harold) Nathan, Mildred (the late George) Steinberg, David (the late Frieda) Potash, Herbert Potash and Elizabeth (the late Marvin) Legator; dear uncle of Steven (Dina) Cherin and many other loving nieces and nephews.
